🧑‍🔬 How good is AI at detecting AI-generated content: Writing vs. Images

Raidar: geneRative AI Detection viA Rewriting - It turns out, large language models (LLMs) are more likely to modify human-written text than AI-generated text when tasked with rewriting. As a result, this paper introduces a method to detect AI-generated content by prompting LLMs to rewrite text and calculating the editing distance of the output. Here’s how effective this method is.

A Sanity Check for AI-generated Image Detection -  In this paper, the authors conduct a sanity check on "whether the task of AI-generated image detection has been solved." Ultimately, they propose AIDE (AI-generated Image DEtector with Hybrid Features), which leverages multiple experts to simultaneously extract visual artifacts and noise patterns.
