🎥 Robotics Company Figure Introduces Natural Walking

While many in the YouTube comments poke fun at this robot’s gait, the fact remains that Figure is steadfastly moving towards natural human movements in their robots. What are your thoughts on the progress?

🔍  Using SVMs to Detect Stress Levels and Multimodal AI to Predict Dementia from Speech

Quantum Hybrid Support Vector Machines for Stress Detection in Older Adults- This work introduces a unique technique to address stress detection as an anomaly detection problem that uses quantum hybrid support vector machines. With the help of a wearable smartwatch, the authors mapped baseline sensor reading as normal data and stressed sensor reading as anomaly data using cortisol concentration as the ground truth.

Predicting Cognitive Decline: A Multimodal AI Approach to Dementia Screening from Speech - Multimodal speech analysis methods were applied to the PROCESS challenge, which requires participants to use audio recordings of clinical interviews to predict patients as healthy control, mild cognitive impairment (MCI), or dementia and regress the patient's Mini-Mental State Exam (MMSE) scores.

⚡ Voice AI in Healthcare: Exploring the Art of the Possible with Deepgram and AWS

Voice AI in Healthcare: Exploring the Art of the Possible with Deepgram and AWS - See how Deepgram and AWS enable real-time medical speech-to-text in clinical workflows. Explore a voice-powered assistant demo for note-taking, prescriptions, and scheduling.
